Super Norma is an Italian restaurant in Carlton, founded and inspired by the food culture of Southern Italy — from Naples down to Sicily.

Our cooking is rooted in tradition. We focus on honest recipes, quality ingredients, and dishes that reflect the flavours of the South — simple, bold, and full of character. It’s food that comes from memory, shaped by heritage and made to be shared.

What began as a small project has grown into a neighbourhood restaurant, with around 20 seats inside and 25 outdoors. A place where people come to eat well and feel at home.

In a short time, Super Norma has become part of Melbourne’s food conversation, recognised as a critic’s pick by the Good Food Guide (2026) and featured by Broadsheet, Delicious Magazine, Carlton Inner City Newspaper, The Age, Our Nonna’s Facebook page...
